Dominos Pizza Not Happy About Nick Gage Pizza Cutter Spot On AEW Dynamite
AEW Dynamite aired a blood no rules match at the end of Fight For The Fallen, and Dominos didn’t appreciate how Nick Gage used a pizza cutter on Chris Jericho.
It was almost perfect comedic timing to see a Dominos commercial cut in just as Nick Gage got to work with a pizza cutter himself. That was not intentional, in fact, the pizza chain is disavowing any knowledge of the bloody spot. After all, that is not a pizza cutter’s true purpose.
Dominos spokeswoman Jenny Fouracre-Petko told Front Office Sports Thursday night that the company was not a fan of Nick Gage’s pizza cutter spot. She expressed concerns and they are going to access their advertising presence in the future.
“We share the concerns expressed about this incident and the content of this TV-14 rated program, and are assessing our advertising presence on it going forward.”
It should be noted that the light tubes, pizza cutter, and other things were gimmicked for that match. It was as safe as it could be, but that doesn’t matter to Dominos.
