Cora Jade Shows Off Nasty Eye Wound Ahead of WWE NXT

Cora Jade is a skilled and ambitious wrestler who has gained recognition for her impressive performances in the NXT women’s division. Jade has a chip on her shoulder and wants to make sure she is the face of NXT. Now it appears that she showed off her nasty eye wound ahead of this week’s episode of NXT.

Indi Hartwell was forced to relinquish her NXT Women’s Championship after suffering an injury earlier this month, which led to a tournament in order to crown a new NXT Women’s Champion.

Last week on NXT television, Cora Jade squared off against Lyra Valkyria in the semi-finals of the tournament. Cora Jade was unable to win the match and ended up suffering an eye injury in the process.

The young NXT upstart took to Twitter ahead of this week’s episode of NXT and uploaded a couple of photos of her eye, which still had welts and was very red in color. She also sent a message to Lyra Valkyria for good measure.

You shoulda killed me when ya had the chance

Tiffany Stratton won the NXT Women’s Championship, so it is very likely that Cora Jade will be going after her as soon as possible. We’ll have to wait and see when Jade will get another shot at the NXT Women’s Championship.
